What I don't understand...
...is why this movie doesn't have a higher score! The animation and art are amazing! While there are a few inconsistencies with the art, it's not enough to take off any points for. The author's excellent knowledge of anatomy and super effective animation techniques make this movie truly a treat to watch.
A Cinematic Feel
In truth, if we were given a more sensitive scale I'd probably have rated this a 8.5. Despite the somewhat simplistic art style, this movie was animated quite well and the cinematography was executed very smoothly. Overall it had a very cinematic feel to it which was very nice. Voice acting was clear, crisp, and well done. The music matched the scenes nicely. The only thing I'd really push for is the art; more detail and accuracy would definitely benefit upcoming sequels greatly.
Wonderful
You've got a combination of good story, good voice acting, good characters, good animation, and good music going here. Very nicely done. I can't wait for the next episode!
This is proof...
... that you don't need to plan out a story elaborately to be a successful storyteller. This is incredibly smooth animation for something produced in '06. The music, the story, the visuals, the action all just flow together and it WORKS. I would've liked to see the girl drawn a bit more detailed seeing as she's the main character, but it's not a big deal. This is one of those older flash movies that I'd love to see revamped and redone with more intense graphics, as it would be like a 100/10 instead of a 10/10. Very nice work.
Haha
You keep getting better with each one! I hope you'll continue because it's quite evident that you put a lot of thought and effort into the animation and story. I've watched this over and over again and I laugh every time.
Hmm...
That wasn't too bad. You had good concept and flow at the beginning. When it got the the line of soldiers (if that's what they were?) firing off into the distance... that's where it sorta starts drooping. Everything after that needed to be smoother, crisper, and more tightly cut. That raindrop scene at the end was also sort of unnecessary..
Anyways, don't worry too much you're doing good from what I can see.
I'm easy-going.
